Polarity Check Testing

When planning to use Polarity Check to test the orientation of a capacitor, be sure the capacitor is of the type and value shown in Table 7.

You can test the capacitors with the analog in-circuit capacitor test only, Polarity Check only, or both.

If you plan to add Polarity Check tests to your fixture in the future, specify them as you develop the board test so that space and resources are provided in the fixture; adding VTEP probes later without the necessary space and resources may be very difficult or even impossible.
