MY LAST SEMESTER STUDIES: INTERNSHIP PROGRAM

Everyone of us were required to attend internship program as the requirement to end our three years studies in Diploma level. We were going to the industries which related to our study field to perform our internship. In my case, I have been chosen by my institute to perform my internship in aircraft component servicing related company. In this post, I share my experience as an intern in the company.

         SR Technics Malaysia Sdn. Bhd. was the company that I went for my internship. It is located at Section 15, Shah Alam in Selangor state of Malaysia. It is one of the branches in the world which its headquarter located in Zurich, Switzerland. For your information, there were nine of us which include me had been selected for perform our internship. 

         We were introduced with company's info and meet with department managers before we had been assigned to different department as our beginning in the company. I had been assigned to electrical & electronic to perform my job as intern. I had assisted certified technician in perform different kind of tasks. I had gained a lot of knowledge and enlarged my view into the aviation industries in Malaysia. I was grateful that company staffs were always helpful in teaching us during our internship. The event had been passed in three more months ago. In the last, it was a precious experience in my diploma studies.

SCADA

SCADA merupakan singkatan dari Supervisory Control and Data Acquisitio n. SCADA merupakan sebuah sistem yang mengumpulkan informasi atau data-data dari lapangan dan kemudian mengirimkan-nya ke sebuah komputer pusat yang akan mengatur dan mengontrol data-data tersbut. Sistem SCADA tidak hanya digunakan dalam proses-proses industri, misalnya, pabrik baja, pembangkit dan pendistribusian tenaga listrik (konvensional maupun nuklir), pabrik kimia, tetapi juga pada beberapa fasilitas eksperimen seperti fusi nuklir. Persoalan Pokok pada Pembangkit Tenaga Listrik

Pembangkit listrik yang biasa digunakan pada suatu Sistem Tenaga Listrik (STL) terdiri dari pembangkit listrik tenaga air (Hydro plant atau PLTA) dan unit-unit thermal.Pembangkit-pembangkit itu sekarang ini umumnya sudah berhubungan satu dengan yang lainnya, atau yang sering disebut dengan interkoneksi. Ferite Core Transformer

What are Ferrite Core Transformers? The transformer made out of ferrite core is called ferrite core transformer . The ferrite core transformer is used for higher frequency applications.The power transformer is made out of CRGO steel core which operate at 50 or 60 Hz frequency.
