8.10 Some of the most frequently used BT-BASIC commands used are:
msi Changes default working directory.
Mass storage is Same as “msi”
cat Catalogs (list)the node names in the specified directory.
get Brings the contents of a file into the system workspace.
load Same as “get”.
msi$ Returns the directory pathname of the current working directory.
msi “..” Backs up one directory level.
findn Locates the next occurrence of the a given sting in the workspace.
8.11 If you wish to invoke the HP Board Graphics Viewer, type board graphics at the
BT-BASIC command line and press the “ENTER” key on the keyboard.
8.12 A HP Board Graphics Viewer window should now appear that contains an image of the circuit card being tested. This window can be use to locate the physical location of devices populating the UUT as well node name information.
8.13 Place the test fixture onto the testhead and type fixture lock at the BT-BASIC command line and press the “ENTER” key on the keyboard.
8.14 To start UUT testing, type runon the command line of the BT-BASIC window and press the “ENTER” key of the key board. Or, you may click the mouse on the “START” button
on the operator keypad window.
8.15 The BT-BASIC window will now display a message similar to that shown in figure 9,
shown below.
8.16 The operator should carefully follow all on-screen instructions to properly test the UUT.
NOTE: Sometimes special operator options are built into the UUT test program to speed up the debug process. These options allow the operator to skip over portions of the test. These skip test options should not be used until all tests with in that group have passed.
